- prepaid.ai gives you a phone number and an AI that answers it, on plans you pay for ahead.
- Nothing is charged automatically unless you turn it on, and paid credit is never taken away while a plan is active.
- Your AI tells every caller it’s an AI; you’re responsible for using it lawfully.
- New Zealand law applies, and your consumer rights stay in place.
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and PAID AI LIMITED, the New Zealand company behind prepaid.ai (NZBN 9429053109132). By using the service you agree to them.
02The service
prepaid.ai provides a phone number and an AI that answers calls to it on your behalf, on prepaid plans. A plan runs for its stated validity window; while it is active your number stays yours and your AI answers.
03Money
Plans are prepaid and are never charged automatically unless you turn on automatic renewal or automatic top-up yourself. Call time is metered per second against your plan’s minutes, then against credits. Top-up credits roll over while a plan is active — we do not confiscate paid credit.
If a plan runs out, your AI stops answering and we hold your number for 25 days; renew in that time to keep it. After that the number is released and cannot be recovered, like a SIM.
04Calls and recordings
Your AI announces that it is an AI at the start of calls, and call recording follows the rules of your number’s country. You are responsible for using the service lawfully in your jurisdiction, including any consent your business must obtain from callers.
05Acceptable use
No unlawful, deceptive or abusive use; no spam or harassing calls. Outbound calling, where offered, runs through compliance checks (do-not-call scrubbing, calling windows, disclosure) and may be refused or suspended to protect recipients and the platform.
06The launch list and early access
Leaving your email address on our coming-soon pages is free, is not an account and is not a contract. Asking for early access to postpaid.ai does not guarantee a place: it is by invitation, and its pricing and terms are set out in a written agreement before you start. Until launch, plans, prices and features may change; the ones that apply to you are those on the site when you sign up.
07Liability
The service is provided as-is; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding three months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply.
08Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. New Zealand law governs them, and New Zealand courts can hear any dispute.
